Hi folks, please don't be afraid of these prices, they're not set in stone
as a matter of fact, I have never used a price from this list.  I'm 99% of the time lower.  I enjoy designing websites, but have to eat too.
Let's talk...talk's cheaper than gas!!!

¹ These are current renewal charges as of today and are subject to change. Renewal charges are not contractually documented. Renewals are billed 30 days in advance. After billing, any subsequent change to the renewal pricing structure will not affect an account until the following year. (see below).

² THINK you need a lot of space, (this website isn't even 2 MBs)and look at how much stuff I have out here. Additional bandwidth and disk space available ($3.00 per GB disk space and $3.00 per 10 per GB bandwidth) with each plan, if needed.

³ Unlimited changes includes all content changes and minor design changes and are done with 7 days of receipt. Requests for changes within 7 days (emergency requests) incur a $50 charge and cannot be guaranteed to be done in the time frame you require. However, I will endeavor to get them done with 24-36 hours of receipt. If an Emergency request takes more than 48 hours, you will not be billed.

Unlimited Changes do not include site overhauls, or database maintenance. All changes must be emailed or mailed via USPS to me to avoid additional charges. Unlimited changes are limited to specific changes you request to your site - and is not inclusive of additional meetings, idea exchanges, computer hardware or software support, telephone consultations. ⁴ The domain name is included in the web design price. Unless I happen to own the domain prior to designing or hosting with Forse Hosting I have the option to sell, rent or lease it to you.

 

Other Services

These are not common for most businesses

For most small businesses and organizations, the above is all the costs you'll ever encounter for my normal services. However, there are a few services I offer beyond the above that can incur additional costs to you and your organization, so take a quick look through these to see if any might apply to you.

Support visits: $35 per hour (this does not apply to your free initial consultation) - minimum of 2 hours. Support visits are for existing clients only and should normally not be needed. On occasion, I may waive this charge if I feel it is warranted due to actions or communication on my behalf.

Conversion of non-digital material: Documents - $20/1000 words; Photos - $3/Image. In other words, it is to your advantage to provide as much content for your website as you can (i.e. computer files of some sort - PDF's, Word Docs, Excel Spreadsheets, Publisher). You may email me your original documents directly. I'm pretty flexible - whatever format you have it in will likely work with me. But if I have to re-type it from scratch or play with my scanner.... well, that's going cost me time -- and cost you money! Call me if you have questions about what this means.

Database Conversion: $50 per 1 million records.

Additional Stock Photos: I can usually provide stock photos (if needed) for free. However, if these are not suitable, you have the option of procuring your own and submitting them to me, or I can obtain them for you (with your prior approval) at a cost of $3 per photo - which covers my cost and time. You, however, will be the owner of any stock photos purchased and can use them for other projects. If you need print-quality photos (to incorporate into a future project), those particular photos will cost more (typically about $7 to $10 per photo).

Logo Creation: Logo creation is done one of two ways. Either we can just add a web-oriented logo to your website to give it some flair, if you don't have one already, or we can custom design a logo for you for your entire business. The first option is only $100 and includes a few other features. The second option depends on complexity and time and is usually discussed at length before a quote is given.

Flash Presentations: $350 per 30 second presentation. Discounts for additional time or presentations may apply. I'll note here briefly that you can save money by adding this later. I will not do entire sites in Flash (ask me why!) or do "splash pages" for you. But if you need a Flash or Screen cast presentation to demonstrate a product or service, let's talk.

Existing Website Consulting: $75 per hour for verbal in-house consulting (min. 2 hours) OR $250 for preparation of a Formal Design and Usability Report. Two hours of in-house or phone consultation is included in the Formal Report option. This option is solely for non-clients who want a professional third-party opinion about their existing website.

Travel Fee: Should you need service beyond Butler County, travel fees will be billed as follows: $.50 per mile (round-trip) for car travel, or actual expenses for air travel and lodging (but not meals). Travel expenses are billed separately and independently of any contract or agreement and must be paid in advance by cashier's check, credit card, or Pay Pal. Travel to neighboring counties of Allegheny and Beaver may not necessarily require upfront payment. Call for details.

Hardware/Computer Support: I generally try not to do this type of work but will on occasion (please ask if I have time). However, minor "quick questions" while I'm on the phone with you, or at your office, are certainly welcomed and if I can help you, I'll certainly do it. That being said, two-hour re-installs, hard-drive crashes, network configurations, and similar undertakings are not "quick" and I'll outsource it or give you a price quote to do it.
